Kieren Banlin, John Dodgin, Nic Bertrand as well as newest team member and TT/criterium specialist Gary Spenceley all raced at Salt Ayre for the first of the Salt Ayre Criterium series, a Cat 2/3/4 event run under the rules of British Cycling. All riders from the Biketreks Racing Team were active at the front of the race and influencing the race thoughout thereby providing a good test to their legs. The race finished in a bunch sprint won by sprinter Julian Pearson (Team Wallis-CHH) over Andy Pickering (Lune RCC)
