Team Alice on Tour (More Photos on Alice's Escapes Facebook Page)

Lots going on. The team faced a brutal week-end battling against terrible weather conditions at Brenig RR and CDNW Great Budworth. Gary Spencely completed his End to End journey in 10 days with Team Alice. All done safe and sound. We are looking forward to getting Gary back for the crits at Salt Ayre and Preston Arena. Chris Anderson was relatively happy with his 11th place overall at the Wigan Wheeler 30 TT on his excellent Specialized Shiv. (Results)

We are also excited to announce the team is also partnering with Swiss company Sponser, newcomer to the UK market and suppliers of a full range high quality sports nutrition products. More info on that front very soon.

This week should see most of us racing at Salt Ayre, Preston and the Lune RCC-promoted Capernwray Road Race (Cherry on the cake).

Good set of results last week with
- strong performances by Kieren and John at CDNW Bole Hill (8th and 9th) - Link
- 2nd and 5th places for Gaz and Chris at Salt Ayre - Link
- An excellent first outing by Kieren on his new Specialized Transition Pro. 1st place and 20:38 at Levens. - Link
- 8th place for Gaz at SiS Preston crit on Thursday in the Elite, 1, 2 race. - Link
- Strong rides by John, Kieren and Chris at Bob Swailes Memorial Road Race. - Link
Week in week out we are getting some good performances and quite importantly we have a diverse group of people whom it's a pleasure to race with. It is great to see the team developing well and enjoying the racing together (Thanks sponsors for the support) Good prospect for an even stronger season next year bringing young talent into the ranks.

Very pleased with how far we've come so far! Well done! Mid-season briefing over and done :-)

This week's Biketreks Racing Team News Roundup

1. Good standard of racing by the team at the 4th round of the Salt Ayre Crit series with Kieren taking 2nd and Chris 5th [Link]
2. Circuit of Consiton Round 1: Gaz and Chris take 3rd and 4th place respectively [Link]
3. Gaz takes 2nd place at a very wet Preston SiS in the Cat 3/4 race [Link]
4. Team takes delivery of the kit ahead of the team launch next Tuesday 10th of May
5. Chris takes 12th at Wigan 30 TT counting for the SPOCO series [Link]
6. Nic gets around safely of a hard West Pennine RC Road race at the Bashall Eaves racing circuit - in the new kit! [Link]
This week should see the Biketreks Racing Team race at Salt Ayre, Barrow Central Wheelers club time trial, Preston SiS Crits, Capernwray RR as well as the Ron O'Brien Memorial Road race.
